Irkutsk museums prepared programmes for winter 2024/25, from “The Snow Queen” at Taltsy to “Cinderella” at the Volkonsky House.
At Taltsy, from 7 December 2024 to 8 January 2025, Father Frost’s residence and Baba Yaga’s hut were open, “The Snow Queen” was performed on 23–27 December (by advance booking), and on 7 January the museum celebrated Christmas. Parents paying with the Pushkin Card received a 10% discount.
At the Volkonsky House Museum the Volkonsky Home Theatre performed “Cinderella” with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden. The Sukachev Estate held a New Year salon and, on 8 January, a Christmas ball for children aged 6 and over, and on 27 December the regional museum of local history held an interactive New Year show and a concert.
