On 17 May the estate stayed open until the last visitor: a tour of the prince’s house, gingerbread painting, horse rides.

On 17 May 2025 the Decembrist Museum took part in the national Night of Museums. At 21:00 the Volkonsky Estate staged the theatrical performance “A Star Called Happiness” (6+) for the 50th anniversary of the release of Vladimir Motyl’s film “The Star of Captivating Happiness”.

The programme included an interactive tour of the prince’s house, a lottery in which every ticket won, a film screening, games, a café, horse rides, a gingerbread-painting master class with craftspeople from Irkutsk’s “Dom Pryanika” and the chance to buy an antique. That night the estate stayed open until the last visitor, and the Pushkin Card was accepted for tickets.
