An emergency incident occurred on Lake Baikal. A car sank there the day before. A child died.At around six o’clock in the evening, tourists from Chelyabinsk drove onto the ice in the area of the Small Sea in a Toyota Land Cruiser. There were three people in the vehicle — a man and his two sons. The foreign-made car fell into an opening in the ice and sank. Rescuers managed to pull the driver and one child out of the water. The 8-year-old boy drowned. Over the past two days, this is already the fourth car to go under the ice on Lake Baikal.
