On November 30, the Miss Irkutsk 2012 beauty pageant final was held in Irkutsk, where 21 contestants, chosen from 300 applicants, competed for the crown. The winner was Daria Mukhacheva.

On November 30, the final of the beauty contest "Miss Irkutsk 2012" was held at the Zagursky Irkutsk Musical Theater. This year, 21 contestants competed for the title of the city’s most beautiful girl; they were selected from 300 Irkutsk women who came to the casting. The contestants were between 17 and 25 years old.
The contest was held under the patronage of the Irkutsk city administration. The event was organized by the municipal autonomous institution "Holiday" and the company "Fashion Time".
The contestants were judged by a professional and independent jury. Its members included well-known figures in the fashion industry: regional director of the "Miss Russia" contest Ekaterina Kabanova (chair of the jury), Miss Russia 2011 Natalya Gantimurova, artist Mikhail Lenn, host of "Fashion TV" Milana Koroleva, fashion designer Alexandra Serova, director of the "Miss Volga" contest Vladimir Ilyin, general manager of the Moscow model agency "CASTA model management" Vlad Metreveli, agent of many Russian top models the Frenchman Eric Serra, and director of the "TO BE model" agency Alessandro Pindilli from Milan. Points were awarded according to several criteria: appearance, poise, diction, creative abilities, erudition, etc.
The hosts of the final show were Yulia Ishchenko, Roman Bersenev, and popular singer and showman Alexey Chumakov. The contest was directed by Lina Arifulina, director of many popular Russian television projects. And to stage the complex stunts, professional stunt performers who had worked with Timur Bekmambetov came to Irkutsk.
The live broadcast of "Miss Irkutsk 2012" was carried out by the AIST television company, and the film about the contest will be shown on Fashion TV.
