In Irkutsk they proposed expanding the incentive system for athletes and coaches to support not only Olympic but also non Olympic sports. Social payments are planned for high results at major Russian and international competitions, and their amount will depend on achievements. According to Dmitry Abramovich, the initiative should raise the citys prestige and support local athletes.

The incentive will be paid based on the results of the past sports year. For Olympic sports, the amount of payments will depend on the results and will range from 45,000 to 600,000 rubles, and from 12,000 to 450,000 rubles.
