In the Irkutsk region, the owner of a foreign car opened fire on unknown men who, he said, tried to flee after stealing wheels and nearly hit him with a car. Two young men were injured and hospitalized, another participant was detained. Police are investigating the incident and seeking witnesses.
To stop the actions of unknown individuals, the owner of the foreign-made car took his registered rifle and went outside. As the man explains, the criminals attempted to flee in their car and, in doing so, tried to run him over. After that, he fired several shots. As a result, one young man was wounded in the leg, and another in the back. The third participant in the shooting was detained.At present, police officers are working with the participants in the incident. All information available at this time is being checked. Police are searching for witnesses and bystanders to establish a complete and objective picture of the incident.
It is known that the young men are between 19 and 22 years old. Two of them have been hospitalized.
The investigation into this fact is ongoing. A procedural decision will be made based on its results. At the same time, a legal assessment will be given both to the man who fired and to the thieves of the car wheels.
