An auto racing championship stage will be held in Irkutsk in two car classes D2 1600 and D1 free. Athletes from various Russian cities will compete, including national champions and medalists and Russian Cup winners. The opening and start are set for February 23 at 12 00, and organizers invite all motorsport fans to attend.
The stage of the championship is held annually in accordance with the “Unified Calendar Plan of the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation.” It will take place in two classes (divisions) of cars: “D2-1600” and “D1” (open).Preliminary applications to participate in the competition have been submitted by athletes from various cities across Russia, from Chita to Yekaterinburg. Champions and prize winners of the Russian Championship, as well as winners of the Russian Cup, will take part in the competition.
The ceremonial opening and start of the competition on Defender of the Fatherland Day will take place at 12:00. The organizers invite all motorsport fans to take part in the sporting celebration as spectators.
