Sergey Eroshchenko said every plot of land in Irkutsk Oblast must be registered and offered for integrated development or other investment projects. The regional government is creating a geoinformation system and negotiating with federal agencies to clarify boundaries and use land efficiently. As an example, he cited the former military town of Chistye Klyuchi, where integrated development with investors and public private partnership is already being discussed.
– Every parcel of land in the region must be registered and presented, for example, for comprehensive development or for other investment projects, – Sergei Eroshchenko noted. The Government of the Irkutsk Region is the customer for the creation of a regional geoinformation system, which is being developed under contract by a contractor organization. In turn, the regional Government is holding talks with federal agencies to clarify the boundaries of land plots belonging to them and the prospects for their rational and efficient use.
As an example, the head of the region cited the former military town of Chistye Klyuchi in the Shelekhovsky District. “We are approaching a decision on its comprehensive development; there are already proposals from potential investors ready to invest their funds, including in social facilities, and we can build new utility networks there on the basis of public-private partnership,” Sergei Eroshchenko emphasized.
