Irkutsk athletes won five medals at the Russian Athletics Championship

Irkutsk athletes performed well at the Russian championship, winning several medals. Vladimir Krasnov took second in the 400 meters, Anastasia Kocherzhova won silver in the 200 meters, and Ivan Tukhtachev took third in the 800 meters. Earlier, Angelina Krasnova and Lyudmila Eremina also excelled in pole vault and joined the Russian team for the winter European championship in Sweden.

In the 400-meter race, Vladimir Krasnov finished second. Anastasia Kocherzhova also brought a silver medal to the Irkutsk Region in the 200-meter race. Ivan Tukhtachev took third place in the 800-meter race.
As reported earlier, Angelina Krasnova took second place in the pole vault with a result of 4 meters 55 cm, and Lyudmila Eremina took third place, clearing 4 meters 50 cm. Both athletes were included in the Russian national team for the Winter European Championship in Sweden.
On the final day of the Russian Athletics Championships, Irkutsk athletes will compete in the 1500-meter events for men and women.
