A new photo exhibition has opened at Irkutsk Airport, and the waiting hall on the second floor of the domestic terminal has long become a real exhibition venue. Here they regularly show works by photographers, artists, and even young authors, and now passengers can see historical black and white photos dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Russian civil aviation. Exhibitions at the airport are especially notable because thousands of travelers see them every day.

A new photo exhibition has opened at the airport It should be noted that the waiting area, located on the 2nd floor of the domestic terminal, can safely be called a city exhibition venue, because works by photographers and artists are regularly displayed there. Thus, opposite the exhibition “Meet Irkutsk” there is an installation of historical black-and-white photographs dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Civil Aviation of the Russian Federation. Recently, an exhibition of participants in a spotting session was on display, and passengers were also presented with drawings on an aviation theme by children from an orphanage; for a month and a half, the waiting area was decorated with works by Irkutsk photographer Denis Kurenkov and cartoons by the well-known Russian artist Alexey Merinov. The authors are happy to display their works at the airport, since, unlike museums, they are seen every day by thousands of people — passengers on dozens of local and domestic flights arriving in Irkutsk, and those who are just about to set off on a journey.
