In the Irkutsk region, the Consumer, protect yourself campaign will be held, dedicated to consumer rights protection and improving legal literacy. During March on Fridays, participants will be told how to go to court and prepare procedural documents on the most problematic areas, from financial and tourism services to utilities and passenger transport. You can register in advance by email or phone, indicating your full name, date of participation, and topic of the meeting.
The purpose of this campaign is to educate consumers about consumer rights protection and to develop legal consumer literacy.Every Friday throughout March, from 15:00 to 17:00, educational events will be held, during which it is planned to explain to citizens the procedure for applying to the courts and drafting procedural documents to protect their rights in the most problematic sectors of the consumer market.
Schedule of educational events:
1 March, 15:00 – 17:00 - Procedure for filing a statement of claim in court to protect the rights of consumers of financial services;
15 March, 15:00 – 17:00 - Procedure for filing a statement of claim in court to protect the rights of consumers of tourist services;
22 March, 15:00 – 17:00 - Procedure for filing a statement of claim in court to protect the rights of consumers of utility services;
29 March, 15:00 – 17:00 - Procedure for filing a statement of claim in court to protect the rights of consumers of passenger transportation services.
