An internet portal for young scientists and innovators has been launched in the Irkutsk region, created on the instruction of the youth scientific, technical and innovation council. The site already has sections with news, contests, information on innovation infrastructure and youth projects. Minister Igor Ivanov urged council members to send current materials so the portal is regularly updated with useful information for young people.
«The Internet portal was developed pursuant to the assignment given at the meeting of the Council for Scientific, Technical and Innovative Activities of Youth under the Government of the Irkutsk Region on December 25, 2012,» Igor Ivanov noted. «At present, it is necessary to continuously fill the site with information that is in demand among young people.»The Internet portal consists of four sections: “News,” “Contests,” “Innovation Infrastructure,” and “Youth Projects.” The “News” section will post information about events held in the field of youth innovation activities. The “Contests” section will publish information about regional, interregional, all-Russian, and international competitions in the field of support for young scientists and innovators. The “Innovation Infrastructure” section will contain contact information for organizations that support the activities of young scientists and innovators, and the range of services they provide. The “Youth Projects” section will contain information about projects implemented by young people in the field of innovation activities.
The minister appealed to those present at the meeting of the Council for Scientific, Technical and Innovative Activities of Youth under the Government of the Irkutsk Region with a request to send up-to-date information to fill the new site. All information should be sent to the Ministry of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Irkutsk Region.
