In Irkutsk Region, ARVI incidence remains high, with lab monitoring showing predominance of influenza A H3N2, influenza B and A H1N1, as well as other respiratory viruses. In some municipalities, including Irkutsk, incidence is already declining. Rospotrebnadzor reminds of prevention measures, dress for the weather, avoid hypothermia, and do not send sick children to kindergarten or school.

According to laboratory monitoring, the etiological structure of acute respiratory viral infections is dominated by the circulation of influenza A(H3N2), influenza B, and A(H1N1); the circulation of other respiratory viruses has also been identified.
Overall, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections among the population in the Irkutsk Region remains at a high level. Nevertheless, in a number of municipalities, including the city of Irkutsk, there is a downward trend in incidence.
The Rospotrebnadzor Administration for the Irkutsk Region continues to recommend that residents observe preventive measures against acute respiratory viral infections: dress appropriately for the weather, avoid hypothermia, and consume vitamins, vegetables, and fruits to support immunity. Avoid close contact with sick people. If the first symptoms of illness appear in children, do not send them to kindergarten or school.
