In Irkutsk, the first charity project of this kind opened, the Hope Island shop, where residents can bring items for those in need. After sorting, some clothes and items are given to orphanages, nursing homes and charities, and some are displayed in the shop for a donation that will go to buy medicines for children's hospitals. Items are accepted daily except Sunday at the House of Services on Uritskogo, 8.

In Irkutsk, this is the first charitable project of this kind, but similar shops have already been created in many major cities of Russia: St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan.
After sorting, the items are sent to orphanages, baby homes, infant homes, homes for the elderly, and charitable organizations. Some items will be displayed in the charity shop, where they can be purchased by leaving a donation. The donations collected will be transferred to the Charity Fund for Helping Children, the “Tatyana Morozova Fund,” to purchase medicines for children's hospitals. If you can donate your items to charity, you are welcome at the “Island of Hope” charity shop.
“People who cannot afford to buy things in stores can do so with us. By making donations in exchange for the item you need, you help children who need expensive medicines,” says the director of the charity fund, Tatyana Morozova.
Nine volunteers accept items from city residents every day except Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the House of Services on Uritskogo, 8 (4th floor, office 406). Phone numbers for additional information: 89086660040, 915519.
