In Irkutsk, housing and utilities committee specialists with district representatives and Duma deputies inspect apartment building courtyards slated for repair this year. They define the work and scope. Repairs start after steady above zero temperatures and are planned to finish by September 1.
At present, specialists from the Housing and Utilities Committee of the Irkutsk city administration, together with representatives of the committees for the management of the city’s administrative districts and deputies of the Duma, are conducting site visits to the courtyard areas of apartment buildings that are scheduled for repair this year and determining the type and scope of work, including: repair of the pavement of courtyard driveways, repair and construction of sidewalks, replacement of curbs, creation of parking spaces, and installation of small architectural forms.Repair work on the courtyard areas will begin after stable above-zero temperatures set in. Part of the work under the municipal contract will be carried out by MUP “IrkutskAvtodor.” Completion of the work is scheduled for September 1.
