In Irkutsk, ambulance and hospitals will be reinforced for the May holidays, with extra crews on duty, and responsible duty officers will be appointed in the health department. Also, it became known that for city school teachers, May 2, 4, 10 and 11 will be working days, and the final holiday schedule of institutions will be set by their heads.

During the holidays, the optimal number of ambulance doctor and paramedic teams will be on duty. The access control regime will also be strengthened, and duty shifts will be organized in Irkutsk hospitals. Responsible duty officers have been assigned for the Department of Health and Social Assistance to the Population during the holiday period.
For teachers at Irkutsk schools, the working days will be May 2, 4, 10, and 11. This is due to the fact that teachers do not have a 5-day, but a 6-day work week, so the rescheduling of days off to May did not apply to them.
“The Department of Education sent out a corresponding letter to all school principals, who will ultimately decide how their general education institution will operate during the holidays,” said Acting Deputy Mayor-Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy and Culture, Head of the Department of Education of the Irkutsk City Administration Valentina Peregudova.
