In Irkutsk, repairs to the Irkutny Bridge continue. The second stage is underway, updating the sidewalk, railings, barriers, and lighting on the upper side. Last year the lower sidewalk and barriers were replaced. 29.6 million rubles were allocated.

The second stage of repair work is currently underway there. The first was completed last year: the downstream sidewalk and the bridge railings were replaced. 30 million rubles were allocated from the city treasury for the work.
This year, work will be carried out to reconstruct the sidewalk, railings and barrier fencing, and to reconstruct the exterior lighting on the upstream side of the bridge. 29.6 million rubles have been allocated from the city budget for the repair of the upstream side of the bridge.
The contractor carrying out the repair work on the Irkutny Bridge is the municipal unitary enterprise “Bridge Maintenance Service” of the city of Irkutsk. Part of the repair of the upstream side of the Irkutny Bridge, which must be carried out under traffic restrictions, is being performed from April 20 to May 31, 2013.
During 2014, it is planned to repair the roadway with replacement of all structural layers. The estimated cost of repairing the roadway is 70 million rubles.
The warranty period for the completed work is 2 years.
