In the Irkutsk region police identified and detained a robbery suspect within hours. He was a 25 year old salesman at a tire service center. He confessed and blamed alcohol. He faces up to five years in prison and will soon be charged.
However, just a few hours later, as a result of operational search measures, detectives identified the suspect and brought him to the police station. He turned out to be a 25-year-old salesman from one of Irkutsk’s tire service centers.The detainee confessed to the crime and said that he had committed the criminal offense under the influence of alcohol.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been opened under the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery). In the near future, the suspect will be charged. He could face up to five years in prison.
