In Irkutsk, the Hunting, Fishing, Recreation exhibition brings together professional hunters and anglers, outdoor and extreme sports fans. Visitors will find modern gear, camping equipment, outdoor recreation vehicles, and a busy business program with roundtables, a fair, a hunting dog parade, and a master class by famous angler Yuri Zaslavsky. Of special interest are the hunting license giveaway, trophy contest, and auction for the right to hunt red deer. The exhibition will end with contest results and Siberian fish soup for all who want it.

The exhibition is organized by Sibexpo Center OJSC with the official support of the Government of the Irkutsk Region, the Administration of the City of Irkutsk, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Eastern Siberia, and the Irkutsk regional employers’ association “Partnership of Commodity Producers and Entrepreneurs.” With the active participation of the Irkutsk Region Wildlife Protection and Use Service, the Irkutsk Regional Public Organization of Hunters and Fishermen, the Irkutsk State Agricultural Academy, and the Association of Hunting and Fishing Exhibitions of the CIS countries.
Every year, professional hunters and fishermen, enthusiasts of active recreation and extreme sports, meet at the exhibition to exchange experience and gain new knowledge. Participants will present modern hunting and fishing equipment, optical equipment for firearms, tourist gear and apparel, goods for active recreation and outdoor leisure at their exhibition stands. Visitors to the exhibition will be able to choose an ATV, a boat, a tent, a sleeping bag, leisure furniture, a hunting, fishing or camping knife, and many other useful goods for organizing recreation, as well as learn about the programs offered by Siberian tourist bases and resorts.
In 2013, more than 40 companies from Irkutsk, the Irkutsk Region, Vladivostok, Krasnoyarsk, the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Vologda Region, Moscow, the Moscow Region, and other regions of Russia will take part in the exhibition.
The exhibition’s business program is packed with events. As part of the exhibition, round tables will be held on “Current Issues in the Development of Hunting Management in the Irkutsk Region” and “Water Bodies of the Irkutsk Region: The Potential of Fish Resources and the Specifics of Fisheries Development.” During the exhibition, there will be a “Fair of Hunting Management Products and Equipment for Hunters and Fishermen,” and the traditional parade of hunting dogs will take place. The Irkutsk State Agricultural Academy will organize the “Hunting Expert” quiz for participants and guests of the exhibition. The event to issue state-standard hunting licenses will also take place at the exhibition. A new hunting license can be issued and obtained while viewing the exhibition. In addition, a competition and evaluation of hunting and anomalous trophies will be held as part of the event. One of the most anticipated events in the business program of the “Hunting. Fishing. Leisure” exhibition will be the auction for the right to hunt red deer, which will be conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Eastern Siberia. Fishing enthusiasts will be treated every day to a master class on the use of modern lures by the famous angler Yuri Zaslavsky.
The exhibition will conclude on June 1 with the announcement of the results of the competitions for the best hunting user, the best exhibitor, as well as the hunting trophies competition. As tradition has it, after the award ceremony for the winners, everyone will be treated to real Siberian fish soup at the open area in front of Sibexpo Center.
