On City Day, public transport routes and schedules will be changed

In Irkutsk, for mass events, the routes of municipal and commercial buses, trams and trolleybuses will be significantly changed some routes will be diverted, some stops will be temporarily removed or moved, and some trips will be canceled. Passengers should check the new routes in advance, especially in the city center, where the changes will affect many popular routes. In addition, on June 1 city transport will run until 01.00 on June 2, and additional departure points will be organized for the convenience of residents.

Municipal buses:
The movement of bus routes N6 “Central Market – Zhilkino settlement”, N14b “N. Lenino – Central Market”, N28 “Center – Bokovo settlement”, N28r “Central Market – Aviazavod”, N29 “Central Market – Nauka garden plots”, N33 “Central Market – Battery station”, N37 “N. Lenino – Central Market”, N39 “Central Market – Gorka station” when heading to the center after Chkalova St. will be routed along Marata St., K. Marx St., 5th Army St., Surikov St., Gavrilov St., Chkalova St., Glazkovsky Bridge and further along the routes. The “Art Museum” stop from Lenin St. will be temporarily moved to Marata St. near house N32. The “Philharmonic” stop from Dzerzhinsky St. will be moved to K. Marx St., 7 (to the building of FSUE “VSZhD”).
On bus routes NN6,29,33,39 the stops “Central Market”, “Sukhe-Bator St.” will be excluded. On bus routes NN14b,28r,37 the stops “Central Market”, “Proletarskaya St.”, “Sukhe-Bator St.” will be excluded. On bus route N28 the stops “Circus”, “Proletarskaya St.”, “Sukhe-Bator St.” will be excluded.
The movement of bus route N17 “Molodezhny settlement – Bus Station” when heading to the bus station after Timiryazeva St. will be routed along Litvinov St., Dzerzhinsky St., Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii St. The stops “Lenin St.”, “Art Museum”, “Circus” will be temporarily excluded.
The movement of bus route N67 “Pervomaisky microdistrict – Topkinsky microdistrict” will be routed:
- when traveling from Pervomaisky microdistrict after the Sverdlovsky district bypass road - via Akademichesky Bridge, Sedova St., Trilissera St., Baikalskaya St., Timiryazeva St., Dzerzhinsky St. further along the routes. The stops “Ministry of Internal Affairs Institute”, “Technical University”, “Zhukovsky St.”, “Teacher Training College”, “Sverdlovsky Market”, “Gogol St.”, “District Council”, “Stepan Razin St.”, “Kirov Square”, “Art Museum”, “Philharmonic” will be excluded, and the stops “Trilissera St.”, “Puppet Theater” will additionally be introduced;
- when traveling from Topkinsky microdistrict after Timiryazeva St. - onto Sedova St., Kozhova St., 3rd of July St., Akademichesky Bridge, Sverdlovsky district bypass road further along the routes. The stops “Lenin St.”, “Art Museum”, “Angara Hotel”, “Stepan Razin St.”, “Dzhambul St.”, “Angara Resort”, “2nd Zheleznodorozhnaya St.”, “Sverdlovsky Market”, “Schmidt St.”, “Zhukovsky St.”, “Technical University”, “Ministry of Internal Affairs Institute” will be excluded.
The movement of bus route N 8 “Zeleny microdistrict – N.I. TPP” will be routed:
- when traveling from Zeleny microdistrict after K. Marx St. - via Kievskaya St., Timiryazeva St., Sedova St., Kozhova St., 3rd of July St., Akademichesky Bridge, Sverdlovsky district bypass road, Sergeeva St. and further along the routes. The stops “Art Museum”, “Angara Hotel”, “Stepan Razin St.”, “Dzhambul St.”, “Angara Resort”, “2nd Zheleznodorozhnaya St.”, “Grove”, “Irkutsk History Museum”, “Kaya”, “Kaysky crossing” will be excluded. Additionally, the stops “University microdistrict”, “School N 55”, “Botanical Garden”, “Melnikovsky Market” will be introduced.
- when traveling from N.I. TPP after Sergeeva St. - onto the Sverdlovsky district bypass road, Akademichesky Bridge, Sedova St., Trilissera St., Baikalskaya St., Timiryazeva St., Dzerzhinsky St., Dek. Sobytiy St., Rabochaya St. and further along the routes. The stops “Kaysky crossing”, “Kaya”, “Irkutsk History Museum”, “Communication House”, “District Council”, “Stepan Razin St.”, “Kirov Square”, “Circus” will be excluded. The stops “Melnikovsky Market”, “Botanical Garden”, “School N 55”, “University microdistrict”, “Trilissera St.”, “Central Market” will be introduced.
The movement of bus routes N 42 “N. Lenino – Airport”, N 43 “Aviazavod – Airport” will be routed:
- when traveling to the airport after 2nd Zheleznodorozhnaya St. - via Lermontov St., the Sverdlovsky district bypass road, Akademichesky Bridge, Sedova St., Trilissera St., Baikalskaya St., Sovetskaya St. and further along the routes. With the exclusion of the stops “Communication House”, “District Council”, “Stepan Razin St.”, “Kirov Square”, “Art Museum”, “Philharmonic”, “Central Market”. Additionally, the stops “2nd Zheleznodorozhnaya”, “Schmidt St.”, “Zhukovsky St.”, “Technical University”, “Ministry of Internal Affairs Institute”, “Trilissera St.”, “Etalon” will be introduced;
- when traveling from the airport after K. Marx St. - via Kievskaya St., Timiryazeva St., Sedova St., Kozhova St., 3rd of July St., Akademichesky Bridge, Lermontov St., Zhukovsky St., Gogol St., Sportivny lane, Irkutny Bridge and further along the routes. With the exclusion of the stops “Sukhe-Bator St.”, “Stepan Razin St.”, “Dzhambul St.”; introduce the stops “Ministry of Internal Affairs Institute”, “Technical University”, “Zhukovsky St.”, “Teacher Training College”, “Sverdlovsky Market”, “Gogol St.”.
The movement of bus route N 11 “Tchaikovsky St. – B. Postyshev” will be routed:
- when traveling from Tchaikovsky St. after Chkalova St. - via Marata St., K. Marx St., B. Gagarin Blvd., 3rd of July St., Akademichesky Bridge, Kommunisticheskaya and further along the route. The “Lenin St.” stop will be moved from Lenin St. to K. Marx St., 7 (to the building of FSUE “VSZhD”);
- when traveling from B. Postyshev after Kommunisticheskaya St. - via Sedova, Trilissera, 25th of October, Kozhova, B. Gagarin Blvd., K. Marx, 5th Army, Surikov, Gavrilov, Chkalova, Glazkovsky Bridge and further along the route. With the exclusion of the stops “Music Theater”, “Lenin St.”, “Art Museum”, “Angara Hotel”, “Stepan Razin St.”.
The movement of bus route N 137 “VSZhD Administration – Svetofor garden plots” will be carried out from S. Perovskaya St., with the exclusion of the “VSZhD Administration” stop.
The movement of buses on routes N 13 “N. Lenino – Center via Marata Ave.”, N 31 “Aviazavod – Center via Marata Ave.”, N 40 “Central Market – Veterans Hospital” will be closed.
Trams and trolleybuses:
Trams on route N 1 “Volzhskaya St. – Student Town” will run to Central Market from 12 to 18 hours. The stops “Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics”, “Lenin St.”, “Stepan Razin St.”, “Chkalova St.”, “Mayakovsky St.”, “Railway Station”, “Chaika cinema”, “Zvezdochka Grove”, “Griboedov St.”, “Zhukovsky St.”, “Lomonosov St.”, “Student Town” will be excluded.
The movement of trolleybus routes N5 “Sverdlova St. – Sunny microdistrict”, N7 “Pervomaisky microdistrict – Sverdlova St.”, N8 “Yubileiny microdistrict – Sverdlova St.” will be carried out to the “Volzhskaya St.” stop. The stops “Diagnostic Center”, “Trilissera St.”, “Puppet Theater”, “Music Theater”, “Lenin St.”, “Art Museum”, “Kirov Square” will be excluded.
The movement of trolleybus route N 4 “Sverdlova St. – Airport” when traveling from the airport after Sovetskaya St. will be routed along Baikalskaya St. to the turning loop at GES Square. The stops “Music Theater”, “Lenin St.”, “Art Museum”, “Kirov Square” will be excluded. The “Puppet Theater” stop (when traveling to the center) has been moved from Sovetskaya St. to Baikalskaya St. to the location of the existing bus and trolleybus stop. The stops “Trilissera St.”, “Diagnostic Center”, “Volzhskaya St.”, “Tsimlyanskaya St.”, “Lisikha”, “Baikalsky microdistrict”, “Relay Plant” will be temporarily introduced.
Tram routes N 2 “Railway Station – Tram Depot”, N 4a “Bratskaya St. – Railway Station”, as well as trolleybus route N 3 “Sunny microdistrict – Marata Ave.” will be closed for the specified period of time.
Commercial buses:
The movement of bus routes N16 “Sunny microdistrict – Railway Station”, N16k “Sunny microdistrict – Kirov Square” when traveling to the center after Baikalskaya St. will be routed along Timiryazeva St., Sedova St. and further along the routes.
The movement of bus route N20 “Airport – Railway Station” when traveling from the airport after K. Marx St. will be routed along Kievskaya St., Dzerzhinsky St. and further along the route to the airport.
The movement of bus routes N6 “Central Market – Zhilkino settlement”, N14 “N. Lenino – Center”, N21 “Central Market – Pervomaisky microdistrict”, N23 “Central Market – M. Konev”, N25 “N.I. TPP - Central Market”, N28 “Center – Bokovo settlement”, N28r “Central Market – Aviazavod”, N30 “Central Market – N. Lenino (hospital N8)”, N60 “7th microdistrict N. Lenino – Center”, N61 “University microdistrict – Airport”, N64 “University microdistrict – Rabochee Ave.”, N65 “7th microdistrict N. Lenino – Central Market”, N66 “7th microdistrict N. The movement of bus routes N24 “Pervomaisky microdistrict (Tower) – Student Town – Center – GES Square – University microdistrict – Pervomaisky microdistrict (Tower)”, N77 “Student Town – Railway Station – Center – GES Square – Student Town” when traveling to the center will be routed along Marata St., K. Marx St., 5th Army St., Sverdlova St., Gagarin Boulevard, 3rd of July St., Akademichesky Bridge, Sedova St. and further along the routes. The “Art Museum” stop from Lenin St. will be moved to Marata St. near house N 32. The “Lenin St.” stop from Lenin St. will be moved to K. Marx St., 7 (to the building of FSUE “VSZhD”).
The movement of bus route N7k “Pervomaisky microdistrict – GES Square – Central Market – Pervomaisky microdistrict” after Timiryazeva St. will be routed along Sedova St., Sovetskaya St., Baikalskaya St., Trilissera St., Sedova St., Baikalskaya St., GES Square, Bezbokov St., Akademicheskaya St., Lermontov St., Ulan-Batorskaya St., the Sverdlovsky district bypass road, Vampilov St.
The movement of bus route N80 “Airport – Baikalskaya St. – Center – Regional Hospital – Student Town – Railway Station – Airport – Piskunova St.” after Baikalskaya St. will be routed along Timiryazeva St., Litvinov St., Dzerzhinsky St., K. Libknecht St. and further along the the airport along the route.
The movement of bus route N90 “Airport – Central Market – Student Town – Baikalskaya – Airport” when traveling from the airport will be routed along Shiryamov St., Sovetskaya St., Baikalskaya St., GES Square, Bezbokov St., Akademicheskaya St., Lermontov St., Zhukovsky St., Gogol St., Sportivny lane, Botkin St., 2nd Zheleznodorozhnaya St. and then on to the airport along the route.
The movement of buses on routes N8 “N.I. TPP – Marata Ave.”, N49 “Pervomaisky microdistrict – Airport”, N84 “University microdistrict – Marata Ave.”, N95 “Zeleny microdistrict – Yubileiny microdistrict” from 12 to 18 hours will be closed.
The movement of passenger transport from 18.00 to 24.00 hours (for the period of closure of Lenin St. and Sukhe-Bator St. on the section from Zhelyabov St. to Nizhnyaya Naberezhnaya St.) will be organized according to the following schemes:
The movement of bus routes NN 3,4,6,8,11,14,14b,16,20,21,23,24, 25,28,28r,29,30,33,37,39,42,43,60,61,64,65,66,67,77,80,99 when traveling to the center after Chkalova St. will be routed along Marata St., Sverdlova St., Lenin St. and further along the routes. The stops “Kirov Square” and “Chkalova St.” will be moved to Marata St. near house N32.
The movement of bus routes NN 3,4,6,8,11,16,20,21,23,25,61,64,67,80, 90 when traveling from the center after Lenin St. will be routed along Kanazawa St., Marata St., Chkalova St. and further along the routes, with the exclusion of the “Angara Hotel” stop.
The movement of bus routes NN 14,14b,28,28r,29,30,33,37,39,42,43, 60,65,66 when traveling from the center after K. Marx St. will be routed along Lenin St., Kanazawa St., Marata St., Chkalova St. and further along the routes. The “Sukhe-Bator St.” stop will be moved from Sukhe-Bator St. to Lenin St. to the location of the existing “Art Museum” bus stop.
The movement of bus route N16k “Sunny microdistrict – Kirov Square” when traveling to the center after Baikalskaya St. will be carried out along Timiryazeva St., Sedova St. and further along the routes. The stops “Art Museum”, “Angara Hotel”, “Kirov Square” will be excluded for the specified period.
The operation of city passenger transport on June 1 will be extended until 01.00 on June 2.
To bring city passenger transport routes closer to the places where mass events are held, from 23.00 departure points will be organized:
- on Sverdlova St. for trolleybus routes:
N 4 “Sverdlova St. – Airport” - 2 units;
N 5 “Sverdlova St. – Sunny microdistrict” - 2 units.
N 7 “Sverdlova St. – Pervomaisky microdistrict” - 3 units;
N 8 “Sverdlova St. – Yubileiny microdistrict” - 3 units;
N 10 “Volzhskaya St. – M. Konev” - 1 unit (will be extended to Kirov Square);
- for tram routes:
N 1 “Student Town – Volzhskaya St.” - 3 units;
N 3 “Central Market – Volzhskaya St.” - 1 unit;
N 4 “Bratskaya St. – Central Market” - 2 units (will be extended to the Railway Station);
N 5 “Central Market – Volzhskaya St. – Sunny microdistrict” - 2 units (will be extended to the Railway Station);
