At the eternal flame in Irkutsk, a Wall of Memory will be installed

In Irkutsk, the Wall of Memory campaign this year will be held in two stages. At first residents did not join actively, but in recent weeks organizers received many photos. Duma speaker Andrey Labygin thanked everyone who supported the initiative and said that on June 21 military equipment will be displayed and a field kitchen will open at the square by the Eternal Flame. The Wall of Memory will open at 21.00.

“When we first launched the campaign, Irkutsk residents did not immediately join it actively. But over the past few weeks, we have received a huge number of photos. Therefore, this year we will create the ‘Wall of Memory’ in two stages. I would like to thank everyone who supported our initiative,” said Duma Speaker Andrey Labygin.
On June 21 at 11 a.m., a display of military equipment will take place at the square by the Eternal Flame, and a field kitchen will be set up.
The opening of the ‘Wall of Memory’ will take place at nine o’clock in the evening.
