In Irkutsk, photographer Alena's first solo exhibition opened, whose works are already familiar to readers of the magazine In Good Taste and the newspaper Irkutsk. Visitors note that her photos are like small films about a person, with expression, calm, and a gift for capturing the hidden essence of the subject. The exhibition can be seen at the anticafe for a month.
“Here, photographs can be compared to a little film about a person,” said exhibition visitor Oksana Kovaleva. “There are photographs you glance at quickly and move on. But here you stand and examine each one. Some photographs have a lot of expressiveness and magnetism, others have calm and life wisdom. Alena knows how to capture a moment in which some hidden essence of a person is revealed. Thanks to her work, I have looked at some well-known people from a different angle.”Alena has been professionally engaged in photography for four years. Her skill is constantly growing. This is emphasized by her colleagues from the magazine “In Good Taste” and the newspaper “Irkutsk,” where she works.
“When I first saw Alena, the sparkle in her eyes, I immediately understood that she is our kind of person,” said the magazine’s editor-in-chief Marina Stanislavchik. “Almost all the photographs presented here were published in our magazine. I congratulate Alena on the opening of her first solo exhibition and want to wish her further professional growth, successful moments for shooting, and the opening of future exhibitions.”
The exhibition can be viewed at the anti-café for a month.
