A festival will take place in Irkutsk across four venues, bringing together folk culture, dance, and youth styles. Guests will see folk groups, Dance Floor acts, the city orchestra, and breakdance contests in the Hip hop zone. The event starts at 14.00 in the main square and ends at 16.00 with balloon release.
which melodies.The second venue is called “Folklore Carousel.” Here, the Irkutsk ensembles “Uzorochye,” “Perezvon,” “Divo-Divnoye,” “Kovcheg,” “Kalina,” and “Kudesy” will perform Russian folk songs, dances, and play musical instruments. Two more festival venues are aimed at young people. At the “Dance Floor,” with an improvised audience area for 30 people, Irkutsk ensembles will present dance, vocal, and stage performances. The program will also include a performance by the city orchestra and a dance school for everyone interested. At the fourth venue (in the “Hip-hop zone”), city break-dance competitions will take place, organized by the “Hip-hop dance school” under the direction of Igor Teslenko. The celebration will begin at 2 p.m., and the city’s main square will be able to accommodate up to 6,000 people. The spectacle will end at 4 p.m. with the launching of balloons.
