In Irkutsk Oblast, the military draft results were summed up, the best results were shown by the military enlistment offices for Alarsky, Balagansky, Zalarinsky and Nukutsky districts, as well as Tulun and Tulun district. At the draft commission meeting, the effective work of several units in Irkutsk and Usolye Sibirskoye was also noted, and among conscripts most received deferment for study, while the share fit for service rose to 65.4%.
The highest results during the conscription of citizens for military service were achieved by the department of the Military Commissariat of the Irkutsk Region for the Alarsky, Balagansky, Zalarinsky, and Nukutsky districts, headed by Sergey Yatsenko, as well as by the department of the Military Commissariat for the city of Tulun and Tulunsky District.At the final meeting of the draft commission, the effective work of the VKIO department for the Oktyabrsky and Pravoberezhny districts of Irkutsk and the military commissariat of Usolye-Sibirskoye was also noted.
In total, during the conscription, 7,975 conscripts (53.5%) received deferments from military service. The main reason was education. 3,242 people (21.7%) were exempted from military service, mainly due to health conditions. During the meetings of the medical draft commissions, 2,097 people (14.1%) were sent for medical examination. However, overall, an increase in the number of those fit for military service is noted. Of the total number summoned to the draft commission meetings, 65.4% were found fit.
