The all Russia campaign under the motto From an environmental problem to its solution will combine a bike ride and environmental monitoring participants will collect data on the state of the environment take air and water samples and identify illegal dumps. The project will be a preparatory stage for launching the monitoring Together for the good of Russia. The material also focuses on Alexander Ponomarev for whom cycling has long been an important part of life.
The nationwide campaign is being held under the slogan “From an environmental problem to its solution.” The main task of the cycling rally is to collect and publicize information about the state of the environment, take samples of atmospheric air and water along the route, and identify unauthorized garbage dumps in each of the regions participating in the cycling rally.This nationwide campaign is intended to become a preparatory link for launching the project to monitor the state of the environment called “Together for the Good of Russia!”
It is worth noting that Alexander Ponomarev was born in Irkutsk in 1986. At the age of 11, he moved with his family to Orenburg, which became his second home. In 2004, Ponomarev graduated from secondary school, and in 2009 from the Faculty of Transport of Orenburg State University. Cycling is an integral part of Alexander Ponomarev’s life. From 2007 to 2013, Ponomarev organized more than 100 cycling trips and cycling competitions.
