At the Engineers of the Future 2013 forum, participants will have a full program, a model rocket class, an exhibition of innovative developments and contests in building from everyday materials. Guests will see how bridge and tower models are made and tested, and learn about underwater robots and the Aquator 2 device.

Within the framework of the forum, a number of interesting events are planned for all interested participants. Among them are a rocket modeling class, an exhibition of innovative developments, competitions in building from the proposed materials, etc.
Thus, representatives of Bauman Moscow State Technical University will conduct, for students and graduate students in engineering specialties, the construction from the proposed materials of a specified object within a set time and using a limited amount of resources. After the assembly stage, the object must necessarily perform a previously agreed action and undergo testing. The materials for construction will be ice cream sticks, plastic straws, fishing line, thread, and glue. The proposed structures: bridges of varying complexity, towers.
The Educational and Scientific Youth Center “Hydronautics” of the Faculty of “Special Mechanical Engineering” of Bauman Moscow State Technical University has planned to hold a two-hour lecture on the project-competitive approach to the design, manufacture, testing, and use of underwater robots in the marine industry and engineering oceanology. Forum participants will be shown photo and video materials and presented with the operation of the underwater vehicle “Aquator 2.”
The Educational and Scientific Youth Space Center of Bauman Moscow State Technical University will hold competitions in rocket modeling sport. During the rocket modeling class, each participant will make their own rocket model with a factory-made model rocket engine and a recovery system (parachute).
In addition, within the framework of the forum “Engineers of the Future 2013,” the exhibition pavilion of the National Research Irkutsk State Technical University (NR ISTU) will showcase scientific innovative developments of the NR ISTU technopark, students and graduate students of ISTU, and scientific developments of the Siberian Institute of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
