In the Shelekhov district, a truck crossed into oncoming traffic, hit a car, then overturned into a ditch. Both drivers were injured and taken to hospital, and the hatchback passenger was prescribed outpatient treatment. Examinations are now underway, after which a legal decision will be made.
During the inspection of the accident scene and the questioning of witnesses, police officers established that the 31-year-old truck driver lost control of the vehicle and crossed into the oncoming lane, where he struck a passenger car traveling in the opposite direction. As a result, the truck left the road and overturned.Both drivers, with various injuries, were taken to the Shelekhov City Hospital. Their lives are not in danger now. The hatchback passenger sustained minor injuries and has been prescribed outpatient treatment.
As part of the investigation into this incident, the preliminary investigation body has ordered a number of examinations, based on the results of which a legal decision will be made.
