12 cars were stolen by a resident of Irkutsk Oblast

During the investigation, the man confessed to stealing 12 cars and three incidents of wheel theft. Ten vehicles have already been found and returned to their lawful owners, and the search for two more cars continues. Police are also gathering additional evidence of his involvement in a series of thefts, for which he could face up to 5 years in prison.

As part of the investigation into this case, confessions were obtained regarding the theft of 12 cars, as well as confessions to three instances of wheel theft. Ten vehicles have already been found. All of them have already been returned to their lawful owners.
At present, police operational officers continue to establish the whereabouts of two more stolen cars. Further collection and consolidation of evidence of the man's involvement in a series of thefts is underway. Under criminal law, the suspect faces a penalty of up to 5 years' imprisonment.
