In Irkutsk, a campaign has started to collect computers and teach computer literacy to people with disabilities. The Barrier Free Irkutsk project, with city support, helps families who cannot afford equipment and do not know how to use a PC. Organizers note that 2805 disabled children live in the city and urge people to help make their lives more comfortable.

Considering the fact that many families in which people with disabilities live do not have the opportunity to buy a computer and do not have PC user skills, the organizers of the “Barrier-Free Irkutsk” project, with the support of the city administration, have launched a campaign to collect computers and teach Irkutsk residents with disabilities computer literacy.
The collection of computers is ongoing. By the way, 2,805 children with disabilities live in Irkutsk, 129 of whom use wheelchairs. And now it is within our power to help these people and make their lives in the city more comfortable and convenient.
