On August 5, traffic police held the Attention Child passenger campaign, stopping cars with children inside and reminding drivers about child seats and seat belts. With owners consent, they also put a special sticker with a red triangle on the rear window to draw other road users attention. Police believe this will make trips with young passengers safer.
On August 5, the campaign “Attention! Child on Board!” was organized and carried out. During the campaign, traffic police officers stopped those cars in which children were riding. All drivers were reminded by the inspectors of the need to use child seats and seat belts. In addition, with the car owner’s consent, police officers affixed a special sticker with a red triangle to the rear window, symbolizing the warning road sign with the inscription “Attention! Child on Board!”
The traffic police are confident that such a sticker will attract the attention of other road users and indicate that a young life is in this vehicle, and will remind them that they need to be extremely careful.
