In central Irkutsk on August 12 another raid on illegal trade was held, during which violators were found and 14 reports were drawn up. Authorities remind that trading can be legal, there are enough places in markets and shopping centers, and illegal trade carries fines of up to 90 thousand rubles.
Another raid on unauthorized trading sites in the city center, which took place on August 12, again revealed violators. Sellers know that such trading is illegal and that they are violating the Irkutsk Region law “On Administrative Liability for Offenses in the Sphere of Improvement of Cities and Settlements of the Irkutsk Region.” But they do not stop trading in unauthorized places. Today, Irkutsk has every opportunity to trade legally, on lawful grounds. There are enough places in markets and shopping centers.“We conduct raids on unauthorized trading every day in all districts of the city; restoring order on the central streets of Irkutsk is one of the main tasks,” says Olga Nedelko.
As a result of yesterday’s raid, 14 reports were drawn up. The traders will receive their goods after paying the fine. An individual will have to pay about 4,000 rubles, an individual entrepreneur — up to 40,000 rubles, and a legal entity — up to 90,000 rubles.
