In Irkutsk, a night bike ride is being prepared, free for all who want to join. Organizers invite cyclists with unusual bikes and costumes, as well as volunteers to escort them, while minors may take part only with parents or legal guardians. The program includes gathering at the Avtograd shopping center, a start at 20.15 and a finish at Constitution Square, and the event will end at 22.30. Last year more than two thousand people took part, and this time organizers expect twice as many.
Everyone can take part! Participation in the ride is absolutely free. The only restriction is that, since the ride takes place in the evening, anyone under 18 must participate together with their parents or legal guardians. Unusual bicycles and cyclists dressed in costumes are especially welcome! Volunteers are also invited to assist with the escort.Program:
19:00 — gathering and registration of event participants in the parking lot in front of the Avtograd shopping center (1 k2 Oktyabrskoy Revolyutsii St.), entertainment program for event participants
20:00 — briefing of participants, preparation for the start
20:15 — start of participants
21:15 — arrival at the parking lot near the Starik Khottabych and Doka shopping centers (244a Baikalskaya St.)
22:00 — arrival of participants at Constitution Square (100a Dek. Sobytiy St.)
22:30 — end of the event, participants depart for home
