In the Irkutsk region, a traditional car rally dedicated to Russian Flag Day will start on August 22. Participants will begin with a rally at the regional government building, then visit the region's cities, where they will meet residents and hold festive events with brochures on the history of the Russian flag. The event will end in Tulun with a big concert featuring creative groups from Irkutsk and the Irkutsk district.
The motor rally is a traditional event timed to coincide with Russia’s Flag Day. The event will begin at 09:00 on August 22 with a rally at the building of the Government of the Irkutsk Region, after which the participants of the motor rally will set off.As part of the motor rally, meetings are planned between the participants and residents of the cities of the Irkutsk Region, as well as festive events at which booklets with information about the history of the Russian flag will be distributed. The motor rally will end in Tulun with a large concert featuring performances by well-known creative groups from Irkutsk and the Irkutsk District.
The organizers of the event are the Ministry of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Irkutsk Region, the Irkutsk regional branch of the United Russia party, the Young Guard of United Russia, etc.
