A forum on modern methods of accessible and quality medical care, disease prevention and a healthy lifestyle will be held in Irkutsk. There will be public lectures, health centers for adults and children, diagnostic exams and risk tests.
The forum is a platform for showcasing modern methods of providing accessible and high-quality medical care to the population, the diagnostic and treatment capabilities of medical institutions and organizations, and practical experience in applying the latest technologies.This year, the forum’s main themes will be: “Promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population,” “Motivating the population to preserve and improve their own health,” “Prevention and identification of risks of developing pathology,” “Medical checkups of the population,” “Detection of diseases at early stages,” and “Reflecting the features of the structure and achievements of municipal healthcare in the city of Irkutsk.”
As part of the forum, lectures will be held for a broad audience on disease prevention and healthy lifestyles.
Three Health Centers for adults and one Health Center for children will be operating at the forum, where visitors can undergo a medical checkup, be examined for risk factors for developing diseases, and receive specialist recommendations. Various diagnostic tests will also be conducted at other forum exhibits.
On October 4, during the forum’s closing ceremony, a presentation of a film about municipal healthcare in Irkutsk will take place, the results of the 2013 city professional competition “The Best Municipal Healthcare Institution of the City of Irkutsk” will be announced, its winners will be awarded, as well as the forum’s most active participants.
