The swimming championship and junior championship start in Irkutsk Region, aimed at promoting the sport, a healthy lifestyle, and finding the region's strongest swimmers. Athletes with second class will compete, and the junior championship will be for boys born 1996 to 1998 and girls born 1998 to 2000. The program includes 17 events and relays, including 4x50 m, 4x100 m freestyle, and 4x100 m medley relay.
