In Irkutsk, two unknown men in motorcycle helmets tried to rob a jewelry store, threatening staff with an object resembling a sawed off shotgun. However, the manager turned off the lights, and the attackers fled without completing the assault, firing at the ceiling as they left. Police are identifying them and asking witnesses to report any information about the incident.
Already 4 minutes later, the OVO crew arrived at the scene. The police established that around 11:30 two unknown men in motorcycle helmets burst into the jewelry store. One of the raiders, threatening the staff with an object resembling a sawn-off shotgun, demanded that everyone lie on the floor. At that moment, the salon manager quietly turned off the lights in the room. This unexpected circumstance forced the criminals to retreat, without completing what they had started. But before fleeing, one of them fired a shot from the sawn-off shotgun into the ceiling with a buckshot round.During the questioning of the victims, detectives established that both young men fled on a motorcycle.
At present, officers of the investigative task force are working at the scene. The question of opening a criminal case is being decided.
