Over the past day, 7 stolen cars were returned to their owners

In Irkutsk, in one day police found five stolen cars taken from October 7 to 15, and two Crowns found by Angarsk police. All will soon be returned to owners, but thieves also stole two expensive SUVs, a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and an Infiniti FX 35. Police remind owners to use reliable security systems and mechanical locks, especially for popular brands without alarms.

Over the past 24 hours, operatives in Irkutsk found 5 cars that had been stolen in the regional center between October 7 and 15. All of the cars were Japanese-made Toyota models from 1999-2004 (Corollas, Mark-2s, and Allions). Two more Coronas from 1993 were discovered by officers of the criminal investigation department of the Angarsk police. In the near future, all of the foreign-made cars will be returned to their owners.
At the same time, criminals in Irkutsk managed to get hold of two expensive cars. From the Oktyabrsky District, a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and an Infiniti FX-35 were stolen during the night and evening hours.
The Irkutsk Region Police remind car owners of the need to equip their vehicles with reliable security systems and mechanical locking devices. Cars of well-known makes that are not equipped with alarms and are left unattended are potential targets for criminals.
