Modified asphalt proved stronger than ordinary, it better withstands temperature changes and, according to specialists, can triple the pavement lifespan. In Irkutsk, rubber slabs between rails at two intersections have already shown positive results. City authorities plan to keep supporting projects that help urban development.

Recall that in 2012, as part of the implementation of an innovative project, rubber slabs were laid in the intertrack space at the intersection of Stepan Razin and Sverdlov streets. A year later, we can speak about the positive results of this project, which every resident of Irkutsk can see for themselves. This year, the intersection of Dekabrskikh Sobytiy and F. Engels streets was equipped in the same way.
The city administration also plans to continue supporting innovation. Priority is given to projects aimed at urban development.
