In Irkutsk, the Dynamo ski biathlon complex reopened after reconstruction. Instead of a narrow track, it now has a six meter wide course for classic and skate skiing. The site also got an automatic shooting range, lighting, a wider track, warm rooms, and a larger parking lot. The complex will now serve as a base for sports school students, and later may become a training site for the ski racing department of Youth Sports School No. 3.

Previously, the site of the new ski-biathlon complex housed a ski base, and only one athlete using the classic technique could pass along the trail. The reconstruction made it possible to create a six-meter-wide track intended for both classic and skating techniques.
In addition to installing an automatic firing range, lighting, and widening the trail, the “Dynamo” facility has built additional warm changing rooms, and the parking lot has been expanded. The project for creating the trail was handled by the Foundation for the Development of Skiing and Biathlon in the Irkutsk Region with the assistance of the Department for Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety of the Housing and Utilities Department of the Irkutsk City Administration. The reconstruction work was carried out by ZAO “Trud”.
Now, pupils of regional youth sports schools will train at the “Dynamo” ski-biathlon complex, and in the future the new trail may become a training venue for the cross-country skiing department of Youth Sports School No. 3 of the city of Irkutsk, located on Kashtakovskaya Street. The “Dynamo” ski-biathlon complex is open to everyone from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 21:00. Ski rental is available. The complex is located at 119 Karpinskaya St. (Plishkinsky Trakt, near the “K-9” kennel).
