In Irkutsk, new traffic lights are still being installed. Millions of rubles have been allocated for their construction, sidewalk improvements, pedestrian barriers, and signs on a yellow background. Two more traffic lights, on Sovetskaya Street by the Ippodrom stop and at the intersection of 20th Sovetsky Lane and Baumana Street, are ready and will start working after police setup.
2,976.1 thousand rubles were allocated for the construction of these two traffic light facilities with the installation of pedestrian barriers, the arrangement of sidewalks, and the installation of signs on a “yellow background.”Two more traffic light facilities are awaiting connection to operating mode: on Sovetskaya St. - the “Ippodrom” bus stop and at the intersection of the 20th Sovetsky Lane and Baumana Street. 3,382 thousand rubles have been allocated from the budget of the city of Irkutsk for their construction, including installation and the arrangement of the adjacent area. These facilities will also begin operating very soon, as soon as the traffic police set up their regulation.
