On December 22, the first international festival of physical culture and sports Take a Step Toward Sport will be held at Irkutsk sports complex Baikal Arena, bringing together over 1000 participants. The program includes a celebration for orphaned children with disabilities, a children's fitness marathon, sports TeamBuilding for companies, an international fitness convention, and the open event Sports City with presentations and lectures on healthy living and proper nutrition.
The first international festival of physical culture and sports under the slogan “Take a Step Toward Sports!” will take place on December 22 at the Baikal-Arena sports complex in Irkutsk. It is expected that more than 1,000 Irkutsk residents will take part in the event.As part of the event, the “We Are Together” celebration will be held for orphaned children with disabilities. Students from general education institutions will take part in a children’s fitness marathon.
Separately for organizations and enterprises of Irkutsk, a sports TeamBulding will be held — a series of events aimed at strengthening corporate spirit and cohesion within the team. For those working in the fitness industry, an international fitness convention will be held, within which training seminars will be conducted by leading specialists from Russia and Europe.
In addition, the “Sports City” event will take place for everyone interested, which includes presentations of sports programs, lectures on a healthy lifestyle, and proper nutrition. No advance application is required to participate in the “Sports City” event.
