In the Irkutsk region, an event was held to strengthen family values and prevent family hardship. Several cities and districts joined, with sports relays, contests, family lessons, exhibitions, and other events for children and adults. Special attention was given to supporting families, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and zero tolerance for violence against children.
Specially for the single-action campaign, the ministry prepared informational banners and posters, paper flags that were distributed among residents of cities and districts. Zima, Sayansk, Cheremkhovo, the Ust-Kut municipal entity, the Usolsky, Ust-Ilimsky, Nizhneudinsky, Taishetsky, Slyudyansky, and Nizhneilimsky districts joined the campaign.For example, as part of the campaign, Sayansk held a sports family relay race among employees of enterprises and institutions, “Sporting Family,” a city competition among families with children with disabilities, “We Are Together!”, a city fathers’ contest, and other events. In Cheremkhovo, a raid was conducted on socially disadvantaged families, a unified class hour, “My Family Is My Wealth,” various exhibitions and campaigns. In the Usolsky district, a lesson on family and family values was held, and the results of the municipal stage of the essay contest “Me + Family” were summed up. In the Ust-Ilimsky district, an evening meeting of creative families, “A Family Is Rich in Talent,” an educational game for large families, “1000 to 1,” a screening of a family comedy, and others were held.
The purpose of the event is to prevent family dysfunction, promote family values and traditions, a healthy lifestyle, and foster in society an intolerant attitude toward various forms of violence against children.
