64 athletes from Krasnoyarsk, Chita, Ulan Ude and Angarsk took part in the artistic gymnastics competition, competing for medals in all around and individual events. All around winners were Angarsk athletes Artem Melekhov, Yulia Murachenko, Maksim Kosterev and Sofya Zangieva, and among second rank athletes Semen Rogolev from Chita and Polina Kiseleva from Angarsk stood out. The tournament was held on new professional equipment, and Danil Taylakov and Margarita Artemova will now represent Irkutsk Oblast at the Siberian Federal District championship.
64 athletes from Krasnoyarsk, Chita, Ulan-Ude, and Angarsk took part in the competition. The male and female gymnasts competed for medals in the all-around and in individual events. Men competed in floor exercise, vault, pommel horse, rings, parallel bars, and horizontal bar. Women competed in floor exercise, vault, uneven bars, and balance beam.The all-around winners in the Candidate for Master of Sport program were Artem Melekhov and Yulia Murachenko. In the First Class program, Maksim Kosterev and Sofya Zangiyeva took first place. All the athletes were from Angarsk.
Among the Second Class athletes, the winners were Semen Rogolev from Chita and Polina Kiseleva from Angarsk.
The competition was held on new modern professional equipment purchased by MBOUDOD DYUSSH “Sibir” and the Regional Public Organization “Federation of Artistic Gymnastics of the Irkutsk Region” with funds from the administration of the Angarsk municipal district and sponsors.
Now Danil Taylakov and Margarita Artemova, as part of the Irkutsk Region team, will take part in the Siberian Federal District Artistic Gymnastics Championship. The competition will be held in early February 2014 among girls in Krasnoyarsk and among boys in Kemerovo.
