On New Year's night, 17 babies were born in Irkutsk maternity hospitals, 3 boys and 3 girls in the city perinatal center, and 4 boys and 7 girls in the IAPO medical unit maternity hospital. On January 1, 22 more children were born there. Since the new building opened on December 20, 2013, 418 children, 184 boys and 234 girls, were born there by January 8.
