On January 30, two author seminars for doctors will be held in Irkutsk on mental health and psychotherapy, and on the health of the population of the Irkutsk region in connection with alcohol use. Participants will learn about mental hygiene, stress management, suicidology and protection from professional burnout, and data on alcohols impact on residents health will be presented. The events will take place at the Drug Prevention Center and will be led by Elena Skibo and Inga Zhdanova.

The author seminars “Mental Health. Psychotherapy” and “On the Health Status of the Population of the Irkutsk Region in Connection with Alcohol Consumption” will take place on January 30 at the OGKU “Center for Drug Addiction Prevention” in Irkutsk. Doctors are invited to participate in the seminars: therapists, neurologists, narcologists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists.
The seminar “Mental Health. Psychotherapy” will be led by Elena Skibo, a doctor of the highest qualification category, narcologist, and psychotherapist. Elena Skibo is the author of more than 25 multimedia discs on restoring mental health, as well as a program for the psychoprophylaxis of socially negative phenomena, and she is proficient in original psychotherapeutic methods. During the event, issues related to mental health will be discussed, such as mental hygiene, stress management, questions of suicidology, protection against “professional burnout,” and others.
As part of the event, Inga Zhdanova, head of the department for social and hygienic monitoring of the Office of Rospotrebnadzor for the Irkutsk Region and associate professor of the Department of Natural Science Education and Fundamentals of Life Safety at the Irkutsk Institute for Advanced Training of Education Workers, will hold the seminar “On the Health Status of the Population of the Irkutsk Region in Connection with Alcohol Consumption.”
The seminars will take place on January 30 at the following address: training hall of the OGKU “Center for Drug Addiction Prevention” (Irkutsk, 74 Akademicheskaya St., office 219).
