For the first time, the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and the Protection of Their Rights of the Leninsky District considered a case involving a minor who was smoking in the entrance of his apartment building. For now, the parents of the underage smoker will have to pay the minimum fine — 500 rubles, but if the teenager continues his unlawful actions, the maximum fine will be imposed.Recall that since October 2013, Federal Law No. 274-FZ has introduced amendments to the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses, which provide for fines for smoking tobacco in the entrances of apartment buildings, children's and medical institutions, and other public places designated by law.
The amount of administrative fines for smoking in prohibited places ranges from 500 to 1,500 rubles. The fine for involving a minor in the use of tobacco for parents (legal guardians) will be from 2,000 to 3,000 rubles, and for unrelated citizens - from 1,000 to 2,000 rubles.
