In Irkutsk, buildings that need parking for fire trucks and other special vehicles will get special signs, a yellow rectangle with a red border and tape marking the site boundaries. Such markings have already been installed at about half of the roughly 100 buildings that need them, and the rest should get them in spring.

Parking areas for special-purpose vehicles will be marked with special signs on the wall of the building. The first sign is a yellow rectangle with a red border, measuring 40x60 centimeters, which indicates that the area 15 meters from the wall of the building is intended for parking fire trucks and other special-purpose vehicles. The second sign is a stripe applied to the wall of the building or curb stone, indicating the length of the parking area, which is prohibited from being occupied by private vehicles.
In Irkutsk, there are about 100 buildings near which it is necessary to provide a parking area for fire trucks and other special-purpose vehicles. About 20 buildings are located in the Oktyabrsky District, the same number in the Pravoberezhny District, and another 30 high-rise buildings are in the Sverdlovsky District. Approximately half of Irkutsk’s buildings have already been equipped with special signs, and distinguishing marks will appear on the remaining buildings in the spring of this year.
