In Angarsk, new mobile medical units based on Gazelles have begun service, helping to examine drivers who disagree with traffic police findings faster. Certified narcologists are on duty, and their main advantage is saving time and the ability to work even in remote rural areas. They will also take part in police prevention efforts.

Certified narcologists are on duty in these crews, who, using modern methods, can quickly and promptly examine motorists who do not agree with the traffic police inspectors’ conclusion about an offense at the place where the vehicle was stopped. The main advantage of mobile medical units is the maximum reduction in the time police have to spend transporting the driver to a stationary medical facility to clarify his condition.
The new “Gazelles” will be especially in demand in rural areas, where the nearest hospital is sometimes dozens of kilometers away from the place where the traffic police inspector stopped an intoxicated driver. In addition, specialists from the mobile medical units will also take part in traditional preventive measures carried out by the police.
