A fitness aerobics festival will be held in Irkutsk Region, where teams will present spectacular routines with elements of Low, Funk, Latino, Step, Hip Hop and other styles. The program includes performances by children, juniors, youth and adults, as well as Bellydance groups and fitness club instructors. In addition, interuniversity competitions will be held as part of the Angara region university sports games, and a free master class for festival participants and spectators. Organizers have already published a detailed schedule of performances, awards and the closing ceremony.

Each team will present to the jury one to three spectacular and dynamic routines featuring basic elements of various types of aerobics, such as “Low,” “Funk,” “Latino,” “Step,” “Hip Hop,” and others. As part of the festival, teams will perform in three age groups: children aged 6-15, juniors and youth aged 16-25, and adults aged 26 and older. Teams in the “Bellydance” category are also allowed to participate in the festival in the “Small Groups” and “Formation” nominations, as well as fitness club instructors.
In addition, as part of the festival, interuniversity fitness aerobics competitions will be held as part of the standings for the 2013-2014 academic year sports contest of the universities of the Angara Region. A free fitness aerobics master class will be held especially for festival participants and spectators. To take part in the master class, you must have sports clothing and footwear with you.
Competition program:
13.15 – performance among children aged 6-15;
14.30 – interuniversity fitness aerobics competitions;
16.30 – festival opening;
16.45 – awards ceremony for children aged 6-15;
17.00 – performance by youth aged 16-25 and adults;
19.00 – master class, open to festival participants and spectators in sportswear and footwear;
19.30 – awards ceremony, festival closing.
The festival is sponsored by ION fitness club and ION Spa Center. The event is organized by the Ministry of Physical Culture, Sports and Youth Policy of the Irkutsk Region, the Regional State Public Institution “Resource and Methodological Center for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports of the Irkutsk Region,” as well as the Irkutsk Regional Federation of Sports and Health Aerobics.
