Due to the cold weather, installation of playgrounds under the deputy project was postponed to spring, and the 2013 contract work has already been completed and accepted with remarks. The contractor must fix the defects at its own expense, including sand quality, access to play structures, and site landscaping, then resubmit the playgrounds by June 2. This year the city plans to install 91 playgrounds, including children's areas with WorkOut elements, for which 38 million rubles will be allocated from the budget. Work should begin next week and be completed by September 1, 2014.

Due to the onset of cold weather, the implementation of the deputy project “Installation of Children’s Playgrounds” was postponed until this spring. As of today, the installation work under the 2013 contract has been completed. On May 16, the completed work was accepted. Based on the results, a bilateral report was drawn up noting defects and unfinished items. The contractor must eliminate the remarks at its own expense and resubmit the playgrounds by June 2.
During a visit to the playground at 6 Deputatskaya St., it was found that not all complaints had yet been addressed. In particular, Alexander Khankhalaev noted the quality of the sand and pointed out the lack of access paths to the play structure and proper landscaping of the adjacent area. The contractor promised to complete everything.
The deputies also visited the playground at 20 Surnova St. It was also supposed to appear last year. However, all the work was completed only recently.
Under this year’s contract, 91 playgrounds are planned to be installed. Thus, 21 playgrounds will appear in the Leninsky District, 20 playgrounds in the Oktyabrsky District, 17 playgrounds in the Pravoberezhny District, and 33 playgrounds in the Sverdlovsky District. In addition, children’s play areas using WorkOut-type equipment will appear - mass physical training sessions in the open air for teenagers. 38 million rubles will be allocated from the city budget for these purposes.
Work is planned to begin next week. Completion date is September 1, 2014.
